FEA Inspection

The Tariff Advisory Committee has laid down rules, regulations, rates, advantages, terms and conditions for transaction of fire insurance Business as per the provisions of Insurance Act – 1938.

The revised tariff is effective from May 2000 which stipulate discount from 5 to 15% depending upon incurred claim ratio for proceeding three policy period.

The above discounts may be granted by the insurance co. to the protected blocks of the risk subject to following.

1. System shall be erected and tested as per the relevant regulations of the TAC and certificate from Professional / Professional Agencies confirming efficacy of the system and its compliance with the rule shall be submitted by the insured.

2. The installation shall be maintained in efficient working order at all time and annual maintenance contract maintenance contract with an external agency shall be in force.
